Job Mission
Ashoka’s role is pivotal: first to hand-pick the right people, ideas and seeds of change, and second to make sure that these social leaders work as a mutually enabling, encouraging and inspiring community – i.e. that they work simultaneously, harmoniously, and, most importantly, in a way that enhances their positive effect. While Ashoka’s search and selection process takes care of the first task.

Job Illustration
The Venture Consultant is responsible to prepare candidates fellow starting from see new idea, search selection process, panel & bring fellow candidates to international board.

Essential Job Functions
•    Prepare candidates fellow starting from see new idea fellow candidate.
•    Search selection to place fellow candidate.
•    Bring fellow candidate to “Panel” up to International Board.
•    Profile writing.
•    Organise nominator network.
•    Coordinator Venture program, starting from time table, venture meeting,etc.

Skills/Qualifications/Requirements

•    Having broad knowledge and interests in cross-sectored cooperation, knowledge and information exchange. Not a specialist, but rather a person with general interest in number of areas and fields;
•    Understanding and having sense on what both social entrepreneurs and the social sector needs, what is missing, how Ashoka can fill this gap and finds its niche, what are social entrepreneurs interests, what are they not aware of, how Ashoka resources, knowledge can be well used and availed for the benefit of the mission of the organization, etc;
•    Understanding different processes on the global scale – globalization, politics, economy, etc. Favorably, very helpful in designing a program;
•    Very good organizing skills, as the program demands a lot of coordination, arranging several things at the same time, keep in touch with all the parties engaged, etc;
•    Communication skills – considering that the post is not only working on coordination, but also being engaged in running the workshops, presenting the trainers, etc;
•    Openness, creativity in terms of using scarce resources, as well as creativity in terms of engaging different individuals, organizations in the program.
